Keys 1–5 submit the current batch using that action’s selected strength. Key 6 opens Custom: Enter sends, Shift+Enter adds a line, and Escape cancels. Shortcuts pause in menus and settings. On iPad, connect a hardware keyboard and tap the page. If keys move a blue highlight instead, see the iPad keyboard help below.

iPad keyboard help

Blue highlighting can mean iPad’s Full Keyboard Access is handling your keys. In iPad Settings → Accessibility → Keyboards & Typing (or Keyboards) → Full Keyboard Access, turn it off to use these page shortcuts, or customize its Commands if you need it. Safari cannot override keys that iPad handles first.

For the Logitech K480, use the dial position paired with your iPad. If you need to pair again, use the keyboard’s i connect button for iPad. Return to Safari, close Settings here, and tap the answer before using Space, 1–6, or the arrow keys.

Test whether Safari receives your keyboard presses.

If the test keeps saying “Listening…” while the blue highlight moves, iPad is likely handling the keys before Safari receives them. Check Full Keyboard Access above. The test takes no photos and submits no jobs.

Your Google account

Authorized workspace owner

Google signs you into Photo Relay. Codex keeps its existing separate ChatGPT sign-in.

Capture in the browser

Open Capture on your iPhone, then tap Start camera. Keep the page visible and your phone unlocked while capturing or confirming a batch.

Open Capture

You can photograph the next problem while an earlier answer runs. Pending local photos stay in their originating browser until uploaded; switching modes or signing out does not remove them.

Codex with ChatGPT

Your server uses your ChatGPT account. Your plan's Codex limits apply.

OpenAI sign-in is managed on the server.

Read comfortably

Dark mode is on by default. Your choice is saved in this browser for Capture and Solve.

Text size is saved with your preferences. Use Safari's Share menu and Add to Home Screen for quick access.

Retry keeps the same task and photos. Run these photos again creates a new job with your chosen task and strength.

Server status

Signing out stops access in this browser. Any unuploaded photos remain in this browser’s Capture outbox for the same owner to recover. Sign back in and reopen Capture to continue.

Confirm it’s you

Reconnecting Codex requires a recent Google sign-in. After returning, open Settings and choose the action again.
