Camera options and help
Start the camera to see the cameras this browser exposes. Camera names come from the browser.
The browser must expose a wider camera or a supported zoom setting to show a wider view. A separate ultra-wide camera can report its own 1× baseline. Camera zoom values can include digital zoom; they do not establish a lens’s physical magnification.
Checks up to eight other cameras after you start the camera. The preview pauses during this search.
Camera diagnostics
If the wider view is unavailable, include these details and your exact iPhone model and iOS version. Diagnostics stay on this page until you copy them.
Bluetooth shutter
Space or Enter can take one photo when the camera is ready. A clicker must send a keyboard event to this page. Test yours here; the test takes no photos. Closing these options returns focus to the shutter. After changing camera or zoom, tap the preview to focus the shutter without taking a photo, or tab to the shutter.
No remote has been tested in this tab.
If the clicker only changes iPhone volume
Some selfie clickers control system volume without sending a keyboard event to Safari. A website cannot turn an unseen volume press into a shutter or suppress the volume change. Try the remote’s documented keyboard mode or a Bluetooth keyboard.
If iOS recognizes your hardware as an external switch, you can also try Settings → Accessibility → Switch Control → Switches → Add New Switch → External, then press the switch. If it is recognized, create a recipe with a single custom tap on this page’s shutter. Use Simple mode, keep the phone’s orientation and page position fixed, and test one press. Reposition the recipe if the shutter moves. An ordinary selfie clicker may not appear as an external switch.
Keep Capture visible and your phone unlocked while taking photos or confirming a batch. Camera capture stops when the page is hidden. Use Resume camera when you return.
Photos upload while this page is active. Local browser storage is best effort and may be erased by clearing website data or by the browser. “Uploaded” means saved on the server; it does not confirm an independent backup.
Choose photo is a secondary picker. JPEG and PNG are supported; select a compatible export for HEIC. Photos use the full camera frame without mirroring text.
To switch, open Capture on the other device and tap Use this device for capture. This pauses the previous device and keeps its photos and batch. Switch back on that device to resume pending uploads. An unfinished batch confirmation must complete before switching. You can also release an empty batch after its uploads and submission finish.
